Hiking link to trails within 5 to 15 miles of our school that include Piestua Peak (Squaw Peak). Within the city of Phoenix there are over 100 miles of interlinked groomed and rugged hiking, bicycling, horse back riding trails that include Camelback in south Scottsdale/Paradise Valley and Pinnacle Peak in North Scottsdale. There are peaks and large rock formations where you can also get in a little mountain climbing. Remember to bring and drink plenty of water.
